After a loved one’s death, people desperately need comfort
In a world racked by pain and loss, the need for grief support is great. Roughly 3 million people die each year in the US, leaving as many as 15–27 million people behind in grief—and millions of people grieving a loved one’s death haven’t experienced God’s comfort and are searching for meaning and hope.
And this is why GriefShare was created.
“GriefShare was life-changing for me after my husband passed. I wouldn’t have known what to expect or how to deal with the emotions.”
Malika

Help them find relief and support
Your gift to GriefShare makes a difference in the lives of individuals.
Your gift in action
Here are some of the ways a gift to GriefShare helps reach people who are grieving and need support.
Support for individuals
We want everyone who needs help dealing with their grief to receive our comforting GriefShare resources. Your gift could provide someone who is grieving with a workbook, a journal, or other materials.
Kits to churches
Many churches here and in other countries would love to host GriefShare groups but they lack the financial resources to offer them. Donating to GriefShare can make the program available to churches in need.
New resources
In addition to our primary 13-week ministry kits, we offer Christ-centered grief support through our Reflections guided journal, Surviving the Holidays events, and print and online resources. A gift enables us to create and provide more GriefShare resources for grieving people.
Crisis response
We provide GriefShare resources, at no cost, to churches and individuals facing tragedies and natural disasters. Donations allow us to continue offering this critical support.
Expanded reach
GriefShare frequently receives requests for ministry materials in different languages. So many more people could find hope through GriefShare if it were available in their native tongue. Help us translate GriefShare and support the expansion of GriefShare ministry around the world.
“My father had been my best friend. I was in such a bad place before I started going to GriefShare.”
